The IP2 LiftPac® meets the strict performance standards of Type IP-2 under 49 CFR §173.465 (c) (d) and IAEA SSR6 Par 722, 723. specifically built for Low-Level Waste (LLW) requiring Type IP-2 packaging, this LiftPac® offers a patented, proven alternative to rigid metal containers and wooden boxes—combining high-strength flexible polymeric materials with an industrial-grade zipper closure. Available in sizes from 96 ft³ to 242 ft³ and safe working loads (SWL) up to 24,000 lbs, it’s the trusted solution for safely transporting and disposing of radiological waste.
