TYPE IP-2 DRUM LIFTPAC®
PacTec’s Type IP-2 Drum LiftPac® is a flexible overpack packaging system certified to meet Type IP-2 requirements under 49 US CFR §173.465 (c) (d) and IAEA SSR6 Par 722, 723. Designed to safely contain low-level waste in rusted, legacy, or non-compliant drums, this solution offers a cost-effective alternative to rigid metal overpacks. Each unit is built to fit 55- or 85-gallon drums, ensuring regulatory-compliant transport and disposal of high-risk radiological waste while simplifying bulk and handling in the field.
